Man in suit holding phone, clock, paperwork

As a lawyer, do you work to live or live to work? Our careers as lawyers are important. However, many of us often forget that being a lawyer is only part of who we are. Think about the times you’ve had to cancel a holiday or catch ups with friends. How many times have you thought ‘I work from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to sleep’? It doesn’t and shouldn’t have to be like that. We can keep telling ourselves that this is the way things are – or we can examine what we can do to enhance the balance and spend more time on ourselves, without compromising our career prospects.

Who is this for?

Trainees and qualified lawyers from NQ upwards, including returners.

What’s involved?

1 x Zoom session lasting 90 mins

During your one-off work/life balance session with me I’ll take a close look at four key areas of your life: work, family, friends and self. You’ll come up with a strategy for ensuring each of these areas is filled with meaningful achievement and enjoyment by thinking about how you actually want to spend your time; how you can manage others’ expectations and learn to say no; and how you can find time to do activities for you.

Investment*

£225 plus VAT (weekdays – 9am to 6pm)
£250 plus VAT (evenings & weekends)

*It is customary to invoice clients in advance of session(s). Assuming you decide to go ahead, I will send you an invoice via email with my bank details. As soon as payment is received I will send you a Zoom invite, and though I aim to be as flexible as possible and happy to schedule sessions in around your work commitments, the fee is non-refundable if you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice.

**Please note: this session is not to be considered as therapy or counselling as I am NOT a qualified therapist. If following an initial chat with me, I deem therapy / counselling a more appropriate intervention, I will advise you accordingly.
