As a lawyer, do you work to live or live to work? Our careers as lawyers are important. However, many of us forget that being a lawyer is actually only part of who we are. Think about the times you’ve had to cancel a holiday or catch ups with friends. How many times have you thought ‘I work from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to sleep’? It doesn’t and shouldn’t have to be like that. We can keep telling ourselves that this is the way things are – or we can examine what we can do to improve the balance and spend more time on ourselves, without compromising our career prospects.

During your one-off confidence and self-esteem session with our associate executive coach Matt Verrell you’ll take a close look at four key areas of your life: work, family, friends and self. You’ll come up with a strategy for ensuring each of these areas is filled with meaningful achievement and enjoyment by thinking about how you actually want to spend your time; how you can manage others’ expectations and learn to say no; and how you can find time to do activities for you.
*It is customary for our coaches and consultants to invoice clients in advance of your session(s). Payments are made directly to your chosen specialist. Also, though our experts aim to be as flexible as possible and are happy to schedule sessions in around your work commitments, your fee will be non-refundable if you cancel your session with less than 24 hours’ notice.
